Initiator

The initiator of the project and founder of the association Der andere Blick: Women Photographers from Africa and Asia is Bettina Kubli (*1965). She is a trained bookseller and has worked for many years in bookshops and publishing houses in Switzerland and abroad. During her many years of working in fair trade for the development organisation Helvetas from 2002 - 2013, she got to know photographers from countries in the South, attended photo festivals in Switzerland and abroad and helped organise photo exhibitions in Switzerland. She lives with her family in Zurich.
